NANAIMO TELEPHONE VISITING SOCIETY IS HOSTING A SPRING TEA!
This event is open to the general public.
WHEN: Saturday May 29th, 2010 from 1pm - 3pm
WHERE: Nanaimo Ecumenical Centre - 6234 Spartan Road off of Metral Drive
WHAT: Tea / coffee / beverages, light lunch, and strawberry shortcake.
WHY: To help support NTVS so that we can keep on providing our services to the seniors of Nanaimo.
COST: $7.00 per person, tickets will be available at the door!
There will be door prizes to give away
A silent auction, Treasure table, and Craft table will be set up with items for sale.

Nanaimo Telephone Visiting Society
hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year to benefit our
Clients. We try to have some events the same every year, and also to
add new events/outings just to keep things interesting.
Some of the events which have taken place so far 2009 include:
Still to come in 2009 are:
We are now doing twice-monthly Shopping trips to Country Club Mall and Walmart/Woodgrove. We try to hit 'Seniors' Day' when we do our Shopping Trips.
In the past, we have also done a wildly successful Lobster Fest - we were not able to put it on in 2009, but may do it (or something similar) another year.
We also try to get our members out to special entertainment activities several times a year. Some of our special outings have included:

- Visit to Parksville Beachfest and Coombs
- Several escorted trips to various entertainment venues

- Our 1st ever Open House here in the office, which will be Thursday, September 17th, from 11am to 2pm.
- Our annual Christmas Luncheon, which will be Wednesday, December 9th this year
