We are proud of our VOLUNTEERS. Our VOLUNTEERS are what keeps us going. If we did not have dedicated VOLUNTEERS, NTVS would cease to exist!

• At NTVS we are committed to providing training, support, and recognition for all of our dedicated volunteers.
• At NTVS we know that volunteers can face barriers too! We offer an opportunity for those with disabilities or lack of transportation to volunteer from their own homes. We will work with you to make this work for you.
• Volunteer work is rewarding but people are often hesitant to make a commitment to do so. At NTVS you decide how many friends you want to have, and how much time you have to give.

Becoming a Volunteer for NTVS is relatively easy: The first step is to complete a VOLUNTEER APPLICATION, and contact the RCMP for a Police Record Check. Once your completed Volunteer Application and Police Record Check is received at the NTVS office, the Program Coordinator will check your References; at that point, if all is 'ok' an appointment will be made for you to come in for a personal Interview with the Program Coordinator. After the Volunteer Interview is complete, it should not take very long before you are matched up with your new friend(s).
